The Fresno Falcons have announced the signing of two key pieces to their roster. Veteran goaltender Austyn Roudebush is one of the two new additions for the Falcons. He joins the Falcons after making history with the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs a season ago, becoming the SPHL’s all-time leader in regular-season victories by a goaltender. The Toledo, Ohio native has now totaled 127 career SPHL victories.
Roudebush also led the Dawgs to the 2023 President’s Cup championship and was named the President’s Cup Playoffs Most Valuable Player that season. He continued to add to his resume during the 2026 President’s Cup Playoffs when he earned his 14th career postseason victory to become the winningest playoff goaltender in SPHL history.
In his new chapter, Roudebush reunites with Falcons Head Coach Iain Duncan and Chief Executive Officer Parker Moskal.
“I started my professional career in the United States playing under Iain Duncan and with Parker Moskal on the Mentor Ice Breakers… it was my first experience playing pro hockey in the states, and they settled me in really well.” Roudebush said. “It’s great to have the chance to work with them again here in Fresno,” Roudebush said, per the team.
Roudebush began his professional career with Viking HC in Sweden. He then returned to the United States and played for the Mentor Ice Breakers during the 2019–20 FPHL season.

The Falcons have also signed another goaltender Nick Grabko, who brings his experience from the NCAA, American Hockey League, ECHL and international leagues. The Channahon, Illinois, native joins the Falcons after playing in France with Hockey Club Mont-Blanc a season ago. Grabko played in 28 regular-season games during the 2025–26 season. He recorded a 2.96 goals-against average and a .908 save percentage.
Grabko completed a five-year college career, playing with Bentley University and the University of Alaska Fairbanks, then began his professional career with the Idaho Steelheads of the ECHL in 2025.
