Well, well, well, look who’s back in town. Yep, it’s THEE Greek Freak himself. Fresno’s version of TMZ apparently captured Giannis Antetokounmpo on camera as he was posted in the luggage claim area at the airport on Wednesday.
The 6-foot-11 Milwaukee Bucks star is obviously easy to spot. But let’s not forget when he came here in 2019 and he was literally walking around River Park for a while before somebody finally recognized him.
A young fan named Cloud David Laurente, who was 12 years old at the time, was the first to notice and approach the NBA Champ.
“I was thinking ‘Is that Giannis?'” Laurente told The Fresno Bee at the time. “I thought he was a fraud. Because one time when I was in Reno, I saw a guy who looked like Kevin Durant, but it wasn’t him. It was a fraud.”
You may also remember that Giannis was trying to link up with “the best elote man” in Fresno.
Giannis is of course married to Fresno native Mariah Riddlesprigger, who built her legacy at Bullard High School as a star volleyball player and outstanding track-and-field athlete.
